Mlada vdova odkrije, da ji je mož pred smrtjo napisal ljubezenska pisma, ki bodo ublažila njeno izgubo.Holly in Gerry sta zaljubljena zakonca, a Gerry kmalu zboli za neozdravljivo boleznijo. Po njegovi smrti Holly začne prejemati sporočila, ki jih je zanjo pripravil soprog. Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry.
