Bitka na Neretvi je kultni film o eni najbolj znanih bitk 2. svetovne vojne. V začetku leta 1943 so nemški generali po Hitlerjevem ukazu začeli z operacijo, v kateri naj bi uničili vse partizanske enote. Partizani so se skupaj z vrhovnim štabom in več tisoč ranjenci znašli obkoljeni v dolini reke Neretve. Njihova edina rešitev je bil en sam most, vendar pa so jih na drugi strani že čakale sovražnikove sile. Tito se je odločil za taktično prevaro in je ukazal most uničiti.
